Ok, maybe not your cup of tea, but I discovered tonight that one of the UK's leading techno/electronic labels Warp Records have put their entire catalogue online to download at 99p a track. Reaosns I like their particular approach (1) they're MP3 format (2) there's no digital rights managment rubbish on them so you can burn/transfer the files as you like. :)

Cool - I'll keep them in mind. Do they have any way to sample the product before buying? (Yeah, I know, go to the website. I'm being lazy right now.)

YOu can listen to the first thirty seconds of any track on the site, which to be honest, for a lot of the tracks isn't a good indication of what they're like, but I suspect many of the people using the service (like me!) will know the tracks they're looking for already. I fully plan on replacing several of my old 12" vinyl singles using the site. :)
